My work raised WCAG compliance to 95%, improved usability scores by 10 points, increased the main page NPS to 9/10, and reduced design-to-dev handoff time by 20%.
I contributed to the UX/UI design of an inclusive HR platform, focusing on accessibility, usability, and design system development.

Problems
During an internal audit, we discovered that many UI elements didn’t meet accessibility standards:
Low text and background contrast
Missing focus states for keyboard users
Small tap areas
Unclear content hierarchy
Inconsistent button and form components
These issues made the platform difficult to use for people with visual or motor impairments
Solutions
Accessibility audit
Design improvments
Updating the design system
Accessibility audit
Process
My work on “Est Delo” began with understanding how the existing platform performed for users with disabilities.Only after that I moved into a structured improvement process.
I reviewed all flows (sign-up, job search, employer dashboard) using Stark and Contrast Checker plugins. Each screen was tested against WCAG 2.1 AA standards. I documented problem areas and grouped them into three levels: contrast, structure, and interaction.
I reworked the color palette, typography, and components to ensure accessibility while keeping the brand style consistent.
Increased text contrast
Unified heading hierarchy (H1–H4)
Enlarged touch areas (min 44px height for icons, min 48px height for buttons)
Added visible focus and hover states
Simplified layout spacing for better readability
